Writing Style

The writing style of this book is told in third person limited omniscient .The interesting part i found about the writing style of this book is the fact that each chapter covered only one event. Since one chapter only covered one event it made it so easy for me to follow what was happening in the book. The book is really great at keeping you wanting to read more since the dialogue last long that you have to flip page to read the rest. Another interesting part about the writing style of the book is the vocabulary it provides in the beginning of the story, at first its complicated but when the story goes on, the vocabulary are explained.

Evaluating Effectiveness

I think the way the story was told was really believable, even if the book is a fictional book it still made me think the story was real. The thoughts and decisions that Thomas makes are incredibly amazing. Even with Thomas' toughness he is still vulnerable, he remembers the pain and horrors hes in that one point he breaks down and cries. I think that this book is a very interesting book, reading it is just filled with action after action. The fact that the situation that Thomas gets in are incredibly scary situations to be in, he gets in a situation where if he makes one single mistake, it can cost him his life.

Rating

I would rate this book a 5/5. I gave this book a 5 because i personally like the fact that the story was about adventure, survival filled with action and a lot more. This book is a lot like The Hunger Games which i both enjoyed reading. The only difference is that the people in The Maze Runner helped and supported each other in order to escape the maze. For this book, i would recommend it to teenagers and to the people who likes action filled stories. This book is filled with action and breath taking situations that the characters get into, for example when Thomas jumped in the maze as it was closing and no one have yet lived a night in the maze due to the Grievers that lurks, I also recommend it to the people who loved reading The Hunger Games since both The Maze Runner and The Hunger Games are practically similar due to the fact that both are survival and adventure.
